2018!!

Good Morning!

So it's been a while hasn't it? unfortunately since my last post life totally took control and I have been going full speed since. Like always life has had its ups and downs, dramas and we suffered a few great tragedies.  The show must go on as they say... and boy has my show.. gone.. on..

so here's some tidbits to get you up to speed:

In just a few pictures you are just about caught up to speed with my life at the moment, although I feel a few need explaining.  So here goes:

1) My dog died.
Although he wasn't just any dog, he was the pure love of my life! Troy was the best thing that ever happened to my family. I still come home thinking he is going to be waiting there. He is missed beyond any words that I can express (and no that wasn't the tragedy I was on about in my opening, although it is tragic)

2) We welcomed little baby Nathan in to the world on 11 feb 2017!
He is perfect and now that he is 1 he is starting to come into his own. He is really cheeky and loves to play with blocks! he also loves a bit of danger and is constantly doing something he shouldn't be doing!

3) Me and my man!
We've been together for nearly a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier. We've known each other since we were in our teens and he's alway been there for me (poor guy even helped me move out of my flat which was on the top floor) I don't know what I would do without him, he makes me laugh, he's always playful, he is really cheeky but always finds time to wrap his arms around me, tell me it's okay and makes sure I am always alright. He's perfect, and it only took me 10 years to see that.

4) My little princess is all grown up! and at school!
she is doing super well and is a little smartypants! always outwitting everyone and is just the most amazing person in the world. She brings me so much love and joy and I would do anything for her (even make up stories about a christmas elf that were so elaborate I had to buy her an extra present.)

5) And the rest is just various other stuff that I have seen and done.
Mum and dad turned 50 this year, I went to London to see Guns n Roses with my better half, we also saw blink 182 and went to see Penn and Teller. Nathan got christened and April started school. We also had weddings and parties and all the good stuff. So up until now all good!

Around November last year though we suffered a great loss in our family. John Derrig 22 years old died from esophageal cancer. He was brave and courageous through his whole fight but unfortunately it was his time to go. He was like a brother to me and although I didn't see him as regularly as I used to when we were kids it still hit a nerve. I don't think I've had my moment yet to grieve. The whole things sent me into a tailspin of nostalgia. If I learned anything though was life is short and it can just as easy be taken away from you so live it, love it and learn from it.

Well that's all for now. I would love to say I will keep you updated but that's may be a life.

until next time.

Nat
